Rocking The Pirate Chic

Zadig & Voltaire’s fash prophecy for SS2012 goes down in our little black book as an important look to lust after. Cecilia Bonstrom calls it Preppy Pirate Chic – the story of the Zadig girl who plunders the pirate’s wardrobe in a spate of androgyny, peppers a touch of her own Rive Gauche charm from the 6ème and calls it her own. This was done in a lovely suite at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome where the key looks for next spring were showcased to the fash pack. What we are getting here are oversized boyfriend pieces, distressed shorts and a general look that appears as though the Zadig girl hasn’t spent an awful lot of time in front of the mirror.

September In Paris

It’s September yet again. We are in Paris doing our rounds of the shows and taking one in after another right from Jardin des Tuileries to Rue Charlot, this is the fash pack descending on Paris taking in the key looks and deciding what makes it to our store come February 2012.

Social media is essentially a form of online media where people are engaging with their social (real-life or otherwise) networks online. They talk, participate, share, network, and bookmark online. Most social media services encourage discussion, feedback, voting, comments, and sharing of information.

It's a two-way conversation, rather than a one-way broadcast.

Launch of Sophie Monk with Makiyo

Publicist PR conceptualised a tea party at the Quincy hotel for the launch of Sophie Monk skincare range where popular singer Makiyo shared her beauty tips with local bloggers such as Xiaxue, Eric Lim, Sophie, Yutaki and Ms Valerie.

The affable Makiyo autographed on her music release and posed with her delighted fans.
