We Donate”. foodpanda (www.foodpanda.sg), Singapore’s leading mobile and online food ordering marketplace, visited the Food Bank Singapore today and donated food on behalf on their fans.

On World Food Day, October 16th and October 17th, foodpanda started the “You Say. We Donate” campaign to encourage active public participation. foodpanda invited all Facebook users to comment on the type of food they would like foodpanda to donate. Visitors chose items ranging from milk to bread by simply commenting on the foodpanda Facebook Fan Page.

The participation of the public makes it possible for foodpanda to deliver 80 kilos of rice, 18 packs of milk powder, 17 bags of potatoes, 20 loaves of bread and 10 packets of noodles to Food Bank Singapore, an amount that will go into feeding more than twenty families.
